Women Who Write - how to make writing part of your busy life with Harriet Evans

  • Persephone Books 8 Edgar Buildings Bath, England, BA1 2EE United Kingdom (map)

Price: £25 (excl. fees)

Have you always wanted to write but don’t have time and / or don’t know where to start?  Got an idea but not the confidence to do anything about it? We all have a story to tell, whether that be a novel, memoir, journal or a simple desire to want to write things down. Join Bath-based novelist and top ten bestseller Harriet Evans at this one-off two-hour workshop for tips and advice on how to begin your writing project and - more importantly - how to keep writing.

This workshop is open to anyone, no matter what stage of the writing process you’re at. No idea is wrong, no suggestion is silly. The most important part of writing is giving yourself permission to get started. At the end of the session hopefully you will have learned to do just that.

Your ticket includes tea/coffee and biscuits.

Please note this venue has no step-free access.

Harriet Evans has sold over a million copies of her books. She is the author of thirteen bestselling novels, most recently The Stargazers, The Beloved Girls, a Richard and Judy Book Club Selection and the Sunday Times Top Ten bestseller The Garden of Lost and Found, which won Good Housekeeping's Book of the Year. She used to work in publishing and now writes full time, when not distracted by her children, other books, gardening, her jumpsuit collection and now star-gazing, having acquired a telescope whilst researching The Stargazers.
